In this role, you will lead the identification of Cyber Security risks related to suppliers, promote Cyber Security awareness and conduct Cyber Security audits and control effectiveness reviews. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust technical background and excellent communication skills. As a member of the Cyber Security Strategy, Governance, Assurance and Risk Management team. Main responsibilities are: Provide ongoing assessments of our Cyber Security suppliers, assist business in answering requests related to our Cyber Security organization and work closely with procurement and legal teams to incorporate Cyber Security requirements into vendor contracts and service level agreements Promote Cyber Security awareness on the Governance Policies and Controls to guide good Cyber Security hygiene and staff behaviors across all domains of IT, OT, IoT and software-based products Partner with management and assist them in implementing a sustainable Cyber Security Governance program Conduct Cyber Security audits and control effectiveness reviews (also with external partners) to verify and ensure that stakeholders throughout Merck adhere to relevant Cyber Security requirements Candidate's profile: Minimum of 5 years experience with a focus on Cyber Security or equivalent following industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO27000, NIST CSF, NIS2, PCI DSS, KRITIS / B3S PHARMA) Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and build consensus with teams across organizational lines Demonstrated experience across multiple information security domains preferred (e.g. IT, OT, IoT and Digital Products) 1 or more industry-recognized security, or audit professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP) Professional with a positive attitude and capable of contributing to a dynamic and team-oriented culture Fluent in English, additional language skills (e.g. German) considered as an advantage
